I heart kale, too! Have you ever tried it baked? I believe Mollie Katzen is to be credited with this one, but if you toss it with olive oil and sea salt and bake it in the oven, it comes out crispy like kale chips! A great way for people to get their greens who don't love them so much. Also, "massaging" it with sea salt is a great way to eat it raw. It softens it a lot so it's easier to chew.

Vegetables are delicious and we need to get out there and promote their value and taste - when well prepared! My cooking school is in the process of adding kids classes and we are looking at adding a bunch of vegetables to show the kids that just because it's green doesn't mean it has to taste bad.

If you anyone reading has suggestions for our classes, please let me know at greg@clandestinechef.com - our school is at www.clandestinechef.com

Thanks- love the blog.

THIS IS A HUGE DEAL IF SEINFELD's WIFE STOLE THE BOOK!

Point #1 - Ms. Lapine showed her book to HarperCollins (Ms. Seinfeld’s publisher) 6 months before Ms. Seinfeld. Ms. Lapine’s publisher had already made Ms. Seinfeld’s publisher change the book cover (which easily resembled Ms. Lapine’s book cover).

Point #2 - Ms. Seinfeld has the same agent from the William Morris Agency as the Harvard sophomore student who recently lost her book contract for copying another’s novel.

Coincidence? You be the judge!
