Joan is an amazing lady. Several years ago, she came up to the farm and spoke to a group of kids from the 92nd Street Y about nothing less than the history of the bagel! It was incredible! But what I enjoyed the most was making breakfast for her. I promised she could help make a "fresh breakfast" I handed her a scissors and she went to the garden to clip herbs. I handed her a basket and she went out to the hens to get some really FRESH eggs! What a breakfast that was!
