Yesher Koach.

One minor note - waterhemp did not develop a resistance to Roundup. It is inherently resistant to roundup and is the donor of the gene that is used to make other crops "roundup ready."

It is good to see that the courts are preventing attempts to cut corners in the approval process. Genetically modified organisms are products that do not have decades of history behind them to show that they are safe so it is imperative that for these products that we are going to consume and are going to grow in the natural environment, that all precautionary steps are taken to demonstrate safety and minimize risk of harm.
