		<description>Hi Daniella!   I love patty pan, too.  For a dairy dinner, this is a recipe I like...and you can do it however you want, really.  I slice the patty pan squash horizontally and steam them lightly.  Scoop out a little of the center with a melon baller and arrange them flat on a baking sheet. Chop the center and saute (in olive oil or butter) with some chopped onion, red pepper (finely minced), garlic, and whatever seasonings you like.  Add some bread crumbs to make a little &quot;stuffing.&quot;  Pile into the centers of the squash and sprinkle with a favorite cheese--cheddar is nice.  Bake till the cheese melts.
