Please see the response to many of these issues at:

You may also want to note that hybrid seed performs well because it is the product of two carefully selected inbred parental lines, crossed under controlled conditions in the field. When you save the next generation, the genes randomize and the benefits of hybridization are lost. This is simply the biology of hybrids. They are pertinent primarily for corn, limited use in other vegetable crops.

Yeah, I probably posted this in the wrong section. It's just the quote at the top right of the page. It irks me so to see misquoted things. Another peeve of mine is 'further' vs. 'farther.'

I looked at two sources for this quote and Julianne's version is correct. Though the quote in the banner is not grammatically the same, I don't see any difference in the thought presented. I also don't see how her argument has anything to do with the "Five Questions ..." article.

Really? I don't know how to even reply to this. Why don't you be a little over dramatic. It is obvious you have no understanding of farming or agriculture in general. Try doing some research before you embarrass yourself again.

Your Cezanne quote is wrong. You can't misquote something and get away with it. Please do thorough research sir or madam.
