Food Conference gets major play in j. weekly

zelig.jpeg

In today’s j. weekly, the Jewish weekly of Northern California, the upcoming Hazon Food Conference is the cover story. Co-chair of the conference, Zelig Golden, tends his backyard garden in Oakland in the cover photo. While the article focuses mainly on the conference, reporter Stacey Palevsky does an excellent job working Tuv Ha’Aretz and Adamah into the story too. Thank you Stacey!

Yes, this was an excellent article which I saved. I visit your site everyday in my quest to combine my interest in food with my interest in Judaism and Tikkun Olam. I had no idea about Jews and Petaluma, CA. I live in LA and have a growing list of places/groups to check out on my next trip to the Bay Area, though I can’t make this conference unfortunately. Keep up the good work.
