In France, a few months ago, the paper &quot;Le Canard Enchaine&quot; published correspondence between Monsanto lobbyists and French deputes at the French Parlement. In itself, there is nothing wrong with it. But, they showed, the TEXT OF THE LAWS they voted was THE SAME as the text they received from the lobbyists. 

As a scientist, I have no respect whatsoever for the pseudo-science invoked in favor of GMO products in agriculture. (Medical potential applications may be another story, but the two subjects ought not to be mixed.)

Israel is a small country and the risks incurred are dramatic.</description>
