My husband and I sold our condo, and moved to an apartment with a much smaller kitchen. Things got interesting. I put my bed on risers and store a lot of things underneath it (like the utensils I rarely use). I then sold some thing I used rarely on craigslist and upgraded my machinery (like selling my immersion blender and my stand blender and just buying myself a vitamix) so I had better quality but less of it. I also sold off a lot of my metal pans and bought the silicone ones because they can squish flat. Good luck. I had the same problem.
