YMMV, of course. It's also something for "doer-type" people who want to help and don't know what else to do -- make up a nice box and run it over to the shelter. I am so sorry for your loss; your second to last paragraph really resonated for me, as I felt exactly the same way when I lost my mom six years ago, also to breast cancer. I know it's cliched, but time does help. It will get easier, but you will never stop missing her. I still hope to meet you some day. Alix Tamar,
