Hey Elana,

Great to hear from you - it sounds like all is well. Common Roots Cafe seems really cool - congrats!

Leah

by the way - how did you find The Jew & The Carrot?

Hi Leah! I read the article today in the NYT and recognized your name and wondered if you were the same person I went to OPRF with.

Seems like we have similar interests - my boyfriend and I live in Minneapolis and are involved in local food issues. He just started a socially responsible bagel shop (we needed good bagels here in the Northland) called Common Roots Cafe. Check it out - commonrootscafe.com

Hope you are well.

Amazingly, the SF Chronicle has the same story today (but with no local Hazon celebrities in it, unfortunately ;)
