		<description>These olive trees are truly beautiful and spiritual. It saddens me very much to hear of the intentional destruction of these trees in the Palestinian lands by the Israel military. (see link to article)  I hope that the Israeli people that oppose this kind of thing will stand up and be heard by their government.

		<description>Nice article, and beautiful olive trees. From what I&#039;ve read, olive trees don&#039;t live as long as 2000 years. I&#039;ll ask an expert when I get the time and let you know.  Anyway, whether it&#039;s 1000 or 2000 years, it&#039;s nice to think about all the generations of people who have enjoyed these trees.  Their longevity keeps these old strains of trees from going extinct, since newer breeds are more profitable.</description>
