That menu looks so good. I love fiddleheads!

Maya -- check your local farmers market. I'm down in DC and we can usually get them here.

Hmm...there's a farmers market on my way home today. If I see fiddleheads I may have to make a slight change/addition to my planned menu!

Leah, I really enjoy this blog & I'm looking forward to trying some of your veg recipes.

I copied this one down to share, because it's a real winner. Doesn't taste like Passover fare at all. I even took it to a pot-luck dinner during the week of Passover to group that was entirely Catholic. They devoured it.

It's called Mina de Masa, and it's a like Greek inspired giant empanada. Very sophisticated.
Here's the link:

And if you want an amazing, healthy, sophisticated Matzo Ball Soup. Try this Fennel, Leek, and Spinach Soup. Add your own recipe for Matzo Balls.

Leah, Thanks for commenting on my foul recipe--it allowed me to discover your terrific blog. The fiddleheads recipe looks really good. Do you know where one can get fiddleheads outside of New England? I suppose not any wild fern will do...
