Great to hear. I direct the Tikvah Program (for campers with special needs) at Camp Ramah in New England. We spend a great deal of time working with your teens and young adults with developmental disabilities on healthy choices, nutrition, menu planning, shopping and cooking. We also garden, growing herbs, spices and vegetables which we use for cooking. Members of our program also work in the main kitchen where they have a first hand experience in food preparation. Our hope is that they will make healthy choices in their lives (we also emphasize life long health and fitness). Totally agree that we can do better in how we eat at camp--meals are loud, rushed and too processed

It's great to hear that the camp will be conscious of the most basic and fundamental component to health and happiness.
