I apologize if my attempt to humorously compare the Israeli/Jewish & American musical styles by referencing several common visual tropes fell flat. No disrespect meant to either culture, both of which I'm a fan of, too. I’m perfectly aware that American hip-hop is not even one homogeneous cultural entity, much less one that consists entirely of low-riders or bling.
