		<description>I guess I didn&#039;t clearly indicate that we would want the focus to be on CSA ingredients (but some Jewish food that incorporates that)- so  think that would include kugel and latkes, borscht (later in the season). keep the ideas coming!</description>

		<description>Ethnic food festivals are definitely a nation-wide phenomenon.  CNN just published this article with lists of rather different (and hugely traif) food events from around the country... (and check out the picture of the kid eating the scorpion. yuck!)

		<description>The Hazon Food Conference planning committee has a long list of Do-it -yourself tracks they&#039;d like to offer during the 2009 FC including:

pickling your own herring
beer brewing
kombucha making
pastrami curing

and much much more - and last year around this time Leah Koenig won an award for her blintzes, which were indeed yum.
