My kimchi didn't work out so well, but my sauerkraut is now successfully in my fridge! I'm happy to say that little food projects like this are EXACTLY how I've begun to unwind as of late (homemade mustard, anyone? maybe some harissa?).

Mia, I think this is an awesome series. Folks here in Boston are working on a social-justice based mutual aid society for unemployed folks to get together and volunteer their time, and simultaneously the same folks are organizing a series of skillshares. It's awesome to think about how we could combine the two in terms of practical skills like pickling, canning, etc.
