Hi Zelig, thanks for the reply. I am attorney (non-practicing) but currently have a day job. Are there any pro bono opportunities to help out on this case?

USDA claims that there is no evidence that consumers care about contamination of organic alfalfa and alfalfa-derived foods with Monsanto’s GE Roundup Ready alfalfa.

I, as a consumer, do care about the contamination of organic alfalfa and alfalfa derived foods with Monsanto's GE Roundup Ready alfalfa. Our meat supply, cows, goats, sheep, etc, eat alfalfa as a dietary supplement to regular pasture. In order for them to be organic they must eat organic feed & GE feed is not organic. Why do we continue to genetically modify things? Please stop trying to improve on nature. We cannot improve on Mother Nature. Every time we try it blows up in our face. Take the cane toad for an example. We turned them lose to "help" with crops, but now they are out of control and killing our domestic predators & we can't stop them (have lost control). The "love bug" is another example. It may not be as detrimental (yet) but it is still extremely annoying. Alfalfa is fine as it is. Why does Monsanto feel it needs to be genetically modified? Please stop trying to Genetically modify our food.

Thanks for your hard work on this. I will be filing a comment, but would love to know if there are additional ways I can get involved. I would be very interested in volunteering my time to help with legal research and writing for this case.
