Not sure how the celeriac debacle went down, but try this: peel it and cube it, sautee in a bit of olive oil with some chopped onion, if desired. Add water to barely cover. Flavor with curry, cumin, corriander and cardamom. Bring to a boil, then simmer till soft. Pretty darn good (and tastes kinds like potatoes!)</description>

And to Richard and Susan, if you can&#039;t find kohlrabi in your store, they tend to appear in csa boxes in the summer. And if you live in Brighton Beach as I do, they are available year round. :)</description>

		<description>I&#039;ve done the slaw before, pretty simple and pretty amazing, and you can switch it up.  I wish it was easier to find kohlrabi though.</description>
