His beautiful Jewish family accepted me as one of their own and now I'm obsessed with all their traditions! Coming from Santa Cruz, CA originally, I'm sure you can assume that environmental factors as well as the food we eventually consume from it are high on our list of importance, and it's wonderful to see a blog such as yours devoted to it. I sent the website over to my boyfriend's mom and this is what she had to say. "Thanks for this terrific link. Will be a big help I'm sure when I'm making holiday meals for all of you. I'm not surprised that this exists, as Judaism has great respect for all living things." I'm pleased, she's pleased, life can go on.
